EMINENCE Parts Ways With Singer, Announces Replacement

January 23, 2009

Brazilian extreme metallers EMINENCE have parted ways with vocalist Wallace Parreiras. The group says in a statement, "[We] will say this that in the last five years, Wallace has been amazing singer to us. Every band has its growing pains, and after touring and living together, we all came to a conclusion that a change had to be made. It was a mutual agreement.

"[We] have to announce the addition of Bruno Paraguay (DILÚVIO) and Bernardo Gosaric (HELLTRUCKER, IMPURITY) to new lineup. Bruno will take care of the vocals and Bernardo is the new bass player.

"[We] would like to thank all our fans and friends for always supporting us. Right now it is a new door and chapter open in our lives."

EMINENCE's latest album, "The God of all Mistakes", was released in March 2008 via Locomotive Records.

EMINENCE's video for the song "Day 7" can be viewed below. The track comes off "The God of all Mistakes", which was recorded at Maquina Studios with producer by Tue Madsen (ROB HALFORD, MNEMIC, THE HAUNTED). The mixing sessions took place at the Antfarm studio in Århus, Denmark.
